He did it!

Tristen Newton is the first player in @UConnMBB history to have two triple-doubles in the same season.

Newton joins Shabazz Napier as the only other player with two triple-doubles in their @UConnMBB career (Shabazz did it once in 2011-12 and once in 2013-14).

I looked it up to make sure. The fans who booed John Henry and Chaim Bloom paid either $50 for a day ticket or $95 for a weekend ticket to go there. Which, OK, counterproductive. But you’ve got to respect that conviction and dedication.
